VCS3 (aka The Putney) Synthesizer
Oct 31st, 2002 at 10:38pm

I've recently become interested in early synthesizers dating back to the early to late 70's and am very interested in the VCS3 Synthesizer. Among some of the famous users include David Vorhaus,Pink Floyd and Brian Eno. Although my readings on the product have only gotten me so far, I was just asking if anyone had any more information as to how they were used and they were instituted into these artists works. I'm particularly interested in how they were used in Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon(1972). I understand they're quiet expensive and hard to find. I read somewhere David Bowie just got has hands on a VCS3 for a pretty hefty sum. If anyones got any information I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Wink
